Toke Makinwa has shared a heartwarming revelation about how motherhood has changed the way people address her
The media personality, who welcomed her first child in August 2025, revealed that she is now more often called by her daughter’s name than her own.
“No one calls me TM anymore… Everywhere I go it is ‘Mummy Yaya’… Omo mi so mi l’oruko tun‑tun,” she wrote, expressing delight at the affectionate new title.
Toke explained that the shift from being recognized as a celebrity to being identified through her child is a unique and emotional experience.
