Ex-Convict Ibori Goes To Church For Thanksgiving (Photos)

The thanksgiving service in honour of former Delta State Governor, Chief James Onanefe Ibori, held this morning at the First Baptist Church, Oghara,  Delta State.

The service was attended by several traditional rulers across the state including the Ovie of Oghara, Ovie of Ughelli, Ovie of Evwreni among others.

Immediate past governor of Delta State, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan,  former Police Affairs Minister and his wife,  Alaowie and Mrs Broderick Bozimo, Senator Emmanuel Aguariavwodo, Mr Ovuozourie Macaulay, Chief Solomon Fukekeme, Senator Patrick Osakwe and Mr Festus Ovie Agas, among others attended the occasion. Well, except it is a thanksgiving that he has now given his life to Christ and old things are passed away. I wonder why we copy every bad thing from developed countries, but we never copy the right things they do. Can this happen in a developed world? What are these elders telling us? Just what? We should get to government and steal too? Ruin our states?? Pretty sad!
