Ex-Convict Who Served 11 Years For Murder Shoots A Police Officer

Why do some people love crime? Davin Lymon, 34, who has a
long criminal history, has been charged in the shooting of a police officer during
a traffic stop in Albuquerque. He fired six shots at Officer Daniel Webster one
of which hit him in the face critically injuring him. Lymon pleaded guilty to
voluntary manslaughter and aggravated battery in 2002, and to fraud and forgery
the year before. He also faced aggravated battery and kidnapping charges last
    year that were dismissed.

According to KRQE News, Lymon’s life of crime started when
he was 20, in 2001, when he killed 20-year-old Ronald Chanslor Junior when an
auto theft ring went sour, which lead to the involuntary manslaughter charge.
Lymon was sent to prison for 11 years for the crime, but re-offended
not long after he was released. The police officer is still at the hospital
battling for his life despite a face surgery.
