Ex-Kano deputy governor dumps ADC FOUR weeks after defection

A former Deputy Governor of Kano State, Aminu Gwarzo, has resigned from the African Democratic Congress (ADC), four weeks after defecting to the party from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP)

Gwarzo had joined the ADC on April 5 at a ceremony in Gwarzo Local Government Area, where he was formally presented with his membership card.

His defection came shortly after that of former Kano State governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, who moved to the party on March 30.

However, recent shifts within the party appear to have altered the political equation.
