“I’m standing forward not for power but for service and progress.

“I’m coming forward to build on the legacies of our good leaders and move the state forward,” he said.

Tuggar revealed that he has prepared a detailed blueprint anchored on a 10-point agenda aimed at accelerating the state’s social and economic growth.

According to him, his plan will prioritise economic diversification, agriculture, livestock development, healthcare, education, and the empowerment of women and young people. He also highlighted digital innovation, entrepreneurship, clean energy, infrastructure expansion, rural development, anti-corruption efforts, and improved welfare for workers as key focus areas.

The former minister added that his administration would promote youth inclusion in governance and strengthen community policing by working closely with security agencies, traditional rulers, and religious leaders to ensure peace and stability.

He concluded by appealing to party stakeholders for their backing as he seeks to secure the APC ticket ahead of the governorship election.
