Nigeria’s Ezekiel Nathaniel has claimed his first-ever Diamond League victory, winning the men’s 400m hurdles at the Lausanne meet on Thursday.
Nathaniel crossed the line in 48.08 seconds after surging ahead over the final hurdle to seal the win.

American Trevor Bassitt followed closely in 48.14 seconds, while Slovenia’s Ian Matic Gucek took third place with 49.23 seconds.
The victory marks a major breakthrough for Nathaniel, cementing his status as one of athletics’ rising stars.
