Folakemi Falana, sister of musician Falz, has come forward to address the controversy surrounding her family and VeryDarkMan regarding Bobrisky
In a statement, she vehemently defended her family against VeryDarkMan’s claims, emphasizing the long-standing commitment of their law firm, Falana & Falana, to providing free services to secure presidential pardons for Nigerians.
Folakemi expressed dismay at the absurdity of VeryDarkMan’s accusations, which included allegations of bribery, corruption, and Falz’s supposed romantic relationship with Bobrisky.
She clarified that her father, Femi Falana, has never met or spoken to Bobrisky, either directly or through a proxy.
According to Folakemi, Bobrisky reached out to Falz requesting money to stay in the VIP section of a prison, citing that as his reason.
Falz had no reason to doubt Bobrisky’s claim, as he was under the impression Bobrisky was indeed in prison. Notably, Bobrisky never discussed a presidential pardon with Falz.
Folakemi questioned the notion that her family would require Bobrisky’s money, emphasizing that Falana & Falana has consistently provided pro bono services.
She highlighted her father’s history of advocating for presidential pardons, citing instances such as seeking pardons for petty thieves and 70 soldiers imprisoned for rebellion.
In conclusion, Folakemi directly addressed VeryDarkMan, stating, “See you in court.”
