A family in the Grand-Bassam area of Ivory Coast/Côte d’Ivoire have had to undergo a ritual after the man was caught having sex with his biological daughter. In order for bad luck not to befall the family, a live sheep was caught into two, while they held one each and were made to go round the village. They also rubbed mud on their bodies. According to reports, the act started 5 years ago when the girl was 9. She is 14 now.
