Novelist, poet and dramatist, Captain Elechi Amadi is dead. GThough he died yesterday at the Good Heart hospital in Port Harcourt around 3:45m, his death has just been announced.
He was 82. Some of his works were The Concubine, The Great Ponds, Isiburu, Sunset in Biafra, Dance of Johannesburg, Peppersoup, The Road to Ibadan, The Slave , Estrangement and the Woman of Calaber.
