Dele Farotimi, a Nigerian lawyer and activist, has raised concerns about the future of the country, saying Nigeria could face serious challenges to its unity if the current government remains in power for another four years.

Farotimi has been a strong critic of the way the country is being governed, particularly on issues involving democracy, accountability and the rule of law.

He said he is worried about where the country is heading and what that could mean for Nigeria’s future.

In a post shared, he said:

“The chances of Nigeria surviving intact if subjected to another four years of this government are very slim.”

His concern comes at a time when questions about governance, national unity and the direction of the country continue to generate debate.

The issues go beyond political disagreements, as he believes the choices made in the coming years could have lasting consequences for Nigeria.
