The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) recently announced that Adanma Luke’s suspension would be lifted, sparking significant controversy.
Filmmaker Stanley Ontop, a vocal critic, expressed his outrage and disappointment on Instagram.
Ontop argued that lifting the suspension less than six months after Junior Pope’s death was unjust and insensitive. He criticized the AGN, calling them “wicked” and “insensitive” for their decision, given the serious circumstances that led to the suspension.
Additionally, Stanley Ontop called for the immediate impeachment of AGN President Emeka Rollas, accusing him of overturning Adanma Luke’s ban due to her connections with top guild leaders. Ontop saw this as blatant favoritism and cronyism, believing that justice had not been served.
In his video caption, he wrote:
“Dear @emekarollas @actorsguildofnigeria God Will judge y’all. What fine has Adanma Luke paid before lifting the suspension, is not even up to one year JP kpai una rush go remove suspension. Y’all will know No Peace. Amen!!!! Shame on all of you. W!cked souls
Emeka Rollas should resign as AGN President immediately ✊🏼✊🏼✊🏼✊🏼
#emekarollasmustgo Shalom!”

What was put in place before the ban was lifted? They seat in their offices like the government and make decisions without thinking twice
