Fireboy DML has recalled a moment when a simple cigarette scene left his family genuinely worried about him.
The singer said he had a c!garette in his mouth while filming a snippet for his Instagram Story, but his family did not see it as part of the act.
According to him, things quickly got emotional in the family WhatsApp group, with his mother even crying.
Speaking in an interview, he said:
“I posted a snippet on my Instagram Story while holding a c!garette in my mouth, and my whole family started crashing out in the WhatsApp group. My mom was crying, and I had to explain to them that it was just showbiz. I later smo.ked it sha, I can’t lie.”
Fireboy said he eventually had to reassure them that the cigarette was only part of the showbiz moment, although he admitted he ended up smo.king it afterwards.
