The conferment occurred during a vibrant ceremony in Enugu, attended by dignitaries including Governor Peter Mbah and prominent traditional leaders.

This distinguished honor celebrates Senator Tinubu’s remarkable contributions to empowering women and fostering sustainable development across Nigeria through her Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI).

The title, symbolizing a “Jewel of Women Empowerment,” acknowledges her tireless efforts in advancing the welfare of women and vulnerable groups, particularly in agriculture, education, health, and economic empowerment.

During her visit, Senator Tinubu empowered 400 women and young farmers across Enugu’s 17 local councils by providing essential agricultural inputs, including wheelbarrows, seedlings, fertilizers, pesticides, livestock feed, piglets, chicks, and a cassava processor.

These efforts, aligned with the Renewed Hope Agenda, aim to bolster food security and economic growth in collaboration with state governments.

The ceremony follows another recent accolade for the Tinubu family, with President Bola Tinubu receiving the Dike Si N’mba 1 of Anambra State title a month earlier.

Senator Tinubu’s initiatives in Enugu reflect her commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG-5 (Gender Equality) and SDG-8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).
