German Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere has ordered flags to fly at half-mast after 10 people including a gunman died in a shooting spree in a Munich shopping centre.
Lowering the flags is “an expression of sympathy following the abhorrent act of violence,” the Interior Ministry said. Our prayers are also with them, just as it is with those that die weekly in Nigeria due to insurgency.
