The actress was conferred with two chieftaincy titles, Yeye Oba and Yeye Atayese, which translate to “King’s Female Chief” and “Peacemaker,” respectively.

Folake Olowofoyeku is a Nigerian-American actress, musician and producer who has built a successful career in Hollywood. She is best known for playing Abishola in the hit CBS sitcom Bob Hearts Abishola, a role that earned her international recognition.
In her acting career, she has also appeared in films including Mufasa: The Lion King, De.ath Race 2050, Armed, Female Fight Club and Hellbenders, as well as television series such as Westworld, How to Get Away with Murder, Modern Family and Transparent. Away from acting, she records music under the stage name The Folake, blending Afrobeat, funk, rock and soul into her sound.
