Nigeria’s wealthiest woman, Folorunsho Alakija, and her husband, Modupe Alakija, have reportedly parted ways
This comes after 30 years of them living together as a couple.
According to a report by TheWill, the couple no longer reside together in their matrimonial home in Ikoyi, Lagos.
Sources close to the couple suggest that frequent disagreements between them may have led to the decision to live separately.
Allegedly, these disagreements became so pronounced that Folorunsho Alakija requested enhanced privacy within their home, prompting her husband to seek alternative accommodation nearby.
While the couple maintains a united front in public due to their prominent status in society, insiders reveal that their relationship has faced challenges in recent years. Despite efforts to present a cohesive image, the strains in their marriage have become apparent to those close to them.
