Living Football legend, Mutiu Adepoju went back memory lane yesterday as he remembers a special day in his life and career where he changed the game for Nigeria making them have a 3-0 victory over Bulgaria in 1994.
Taking to twitter to remember, June 21, 1994, Adepoju wrote;
”On this day 26 years ago, I made history with Nigeria to feature in the country’s maiden World Cup game. The icing on the cake was a 3-0 victory over Bulgaria. This is no doubt one of the biggest highlights of my career as a footballer and I will never forget this day.”
