It looks like more legal issues are piling up for Dwight Howard.

The former NBA star is now facing a lawsuit from someone who says he used to work closely with him all while Howard is already dealing with a divorce filing from his estranged wife, Amber Howard.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, a man named Terrence Hudson claims he worked for Dwight and Amber for several months in 2025.

Hudson says he was hired on June 25, 2025, and stayed on the job until October 8, 2025. During that time, he says he wore multiple hats serving as a home security guard, domestic manager, and Dwight’s personal assistant.
And according to Hudson, the pay arrangement seemed straightforward.

He claims he agreed to earn $2,000 per week. But in the lawsuit filed in December 2025, Hudson says the payments he actually received were far from consistent. In fact, he alleges he was only paid $8,137.54 in total during his entire time working for the couple.

Hudson also says he tried to resolve the issue before taking legal action. The filing claims he sent a certified letter demanding payment, but says the request was declined.

Now he’s taking the matter to court.

Hudson is asking for $40,702.06 in damages including $30,702.06 for unpaid wages and an additional $10,000 for emotional distress.

The lawsuit adds yet another layer of drama to Howard’s personal life, which recently made headlines after news broke that he filed for divorce from Amber.

For now, the case will likely play out in court as both sides respond to the claims.
