Jonathan Majors, known for his role in Marvel movies, has had his conviction on assault and harassment charges upheld by a judge.
The charges arose from a dispute with his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, although Majors denied the allegations.
In December, a New York jury found Majors guilty of reckless assault and harassment violation, but acquitted him of other charges.
Majors’ attorney requested the verdict be set aside, but the judge denied the motion on Monday.
In response, Majors’ attorney expressed disappointment but stated that Majors remains focused on his family and career.
