VeryDarkman, controversial Nigerian activist, has at last been released from custody
This trails his arrest soon after making bold allegations linking crossdresser Bobrisky to politicians and high-ranking police officials.
It was also garnered that Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh lodged a formal complaint against him.
The prolonged detention of the public figure triggered outcry from some of his supporters and celebration from others who celebrated his absence.
In a new turn of event, after being held for over a week, SaharaReporters’ founder, Omoyele Sowore announced the release of the Verydarkman.
Taking to his official Instagram page, the politician shared a photo of the online activist and expressed heartfelt gratitude to Nigerians for their unwavering support.
Sowore also acknowledged the pivotal role played by Deji Adeyanju in securing VDM’s freedom.
Omoyele Sowore wrote:
