The nominations for the 2025 BET Awards have been announced, with Kendrick Lamar leading the pack with 10 nods, including Album of the Year, Best Male Hip-Hop Artist, and Viewer’s Choice
He is followed closely by Doechii, Drake, Future, and GloRilla, who each earned six nominations.
The awards, which celebrate excellence in music, television, film, and sports, will take place live at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on June 9 at 8 p.m. ET.

Best Male R&B/Pop Artist
Contenders are Usher, The Weeknd, Chris Brown, Drake, Bruno Mars, Teddy Swims, Fridayy, and Leon Thomas.
Best Female Hip-Hop Artist
This category features Nicki Minaj, Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, Doechii, GloRilla, Latto, Doja Cat, Rapsody, and Sexyy Red.
Best Male Hip-Hop Artist
Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Future, J. Cole, Lil Wayne, Burna Boy, Tyler, the Creator, BigXthaPlug, and Bossman Dlow are all nominated.
Best New Artist
Nominees include Ayra Starr, Teddy Swims, Shaboozey, October London, Leon Thomas, Dee Billz, BigXthaPlug, Bossman Dlow, and 41.
Best International Act
Artists from across the globe are recognized, including Tyla (South Africa), Asake (Nigeria), Ayra Starr (Nigeria), Aya Nakamura (France), Raye (UK), Cleo Sol (UK), Focalistic (South Africa), BK’ (Brazil), Karol Conká (Brazil), and Tiakola (France).
Viewer’s Choice Award
