Passengers traveling with Air Peace at London Gatwick Airport have expressed growing frustration after being left stranded for hours without access to their luggage or clear communication from the airline.
Among those affected is actress Funke Akindele, who took to social media to highlight the situation. According to her, travelers had been waiting since early morning with little support provided.
“Air Peace, what is going on? Since 7AM at London Gatwick Airport and it’s almost 4PM no bags, no hotel, no proper updates. Passengers are stranded. People are tired and hungry. Release the luggage and take care of your passengers NOW,” she wrote.
Reports from passengers indicate that the delay has caused significant discomfort, with many complaining about a lack of basic amenities and information. Some travelers say they have not been offered accommodation or refreshments despite the prolonged wait.
As tensions rise, affected passengers are calling on the airline to urgently address the situation by releasing luggage, providing clear updates, and ensuring proper care for those impacted.
At the time of reporting, Air Peace has yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident.
