Nollywood actress and movie producer Funke Akindele has reacted to Toyin Abraham’s message on rivalry in the movie industry
Toyin Abraham had taken to Instagram to speak out about a fierce competition just to be number one in the movie industry.
She had expressed how that competition had created lots of foes in the industry, especially hers, the Yoruba movie industry. She had gone on to beg Nollywood people to stop trying to tear down the industry with gossips.
She further expressed that Funke has always been the number one after the likes of Aunty Bukky and Aunty Faithia while she was next in line.
She stated how the industry has continued to treat her and Funke Akindele as rivals and that she would not want to compete anymore. She went on to adore Funke Akindele for being a winner.
Funke Akindele was also among thousands who left a comment on the post.
She simply wrote; “Toyin baby, all the best, dear.”
Her short and direct response got some netizens speculating as they expressed that she should have said more than just a sentence.
