20 sim cards, 3 army uniforms have been recovered at the residence of a General Overseer (G.O), who allegedly attempted to k!dnap a Bishop
The General Overseer and founder of a new generation church was apprehended by the Delta State Police Command.
The alleged attempt of k!dnap tok place at Agbarho, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The General Overseer, simply identified as Bishop Godfrey, was arrested along with his wife, an Assistant Pastor, elders and others who are currently detained at the Ughelli Police A’ Division.
It was further learnt that the General Overseer, whose church is located in Agbarho, was traced to a hideout, where he escaped to after getting wind of the arrest of his wife and others.
When contacted, Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Edafe Bright confirmed the report, saying that investigation was on to unravel the incident.
