Actress, Georgina Onuoha has sent a message to supporters of May Yul‑Edochie, popularly known as May Nation, urging them to reflect the peace, kindness, and dignity that define the actress.
In her Instagram post, Georgina thanked May Nation for standing by May, writing: “First and foremost, thank you sincerely and deeply for standing with my sister, May Yul‑Edochie, through everything. You came together after witnessing the injustice done to her, and even in her silence, you have continued to speak for her, defend her, and fight for her. For that, I am truly grateful.”
She noted that most fans genuinely want May to succeed, heal, and thrive, describing her as a quiet, peace‑loving, kind, gracious, family‑centered woman whose core values have always been love, loyalty, and dignity.
However, Georgina warned that some malicious individuals have infiltrated the fan base, using the May Nation name to issue threats and provoke chaos. She revealed that someone close to her recently received a vile message threatening their family under this banner, stressing: “Let me be very clear: that does not represent May, nor does it represent May Nation.”
She appealed to fans to mirror May’s peaceful nature, emphasizing: “May is not a violent person. She does not threaten. She does not harass. She does not go after people’s families. She does not engage in cruelty.”
Georgina urged supporters not to send harmful messages or cause damage, regardless of provocation, reminding them that May chooses restraint and silence even in the face of harassment, citing the Igbo wisdom: ama ndi aneze – dignity in silence.
Closing her message, Georgina encouraged May Nation to continue supporting May peacefully and respectfully, writing: “If you love her, mirror her heart. Mirror her kindness. Mirror her restraint. Mirror her grace.”
She stressed that the fan community is united by justice and love for May, and asked them to protect the integrity of their cause while avoiding actions that could harm others.
