In a perplexing case, a 62-year-old German man defied medical advice and received 217 Covid vaccinations within 29 months
The unusual incident, documented in The Lancet Infectious Diseases journal, revealed the shots were privately acquired.
Surprisingly, the man experienced no adverse effects.
Researchers from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg conducted tests, finding no signs of immune system fatigue or prior Covid infection.
While no criminal charges were filed, concerns about hyper-stimulating the immune system arose.
The researchers cautioned against hyper-vaccination, emphasizing the current endorsed strategy involves a three-dose vaccination and regular top-ups for vulnerable groups.
