Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, today announced he has
left the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for All Progressives Congress, APC. He
also stated that, he will be handling over his resignation letter tomorrow, Monday,
3rd of February, 2014. According to him, PDP has lost touch with
Nigerians, and that is one of the major reasons he left the party.

This will be the second time the former vice president will
leave PDP for another party. He once left in 2006 for ACN now APC and returned
back in 2009 after Obasanjo left office.
