Ghanaian singer Efya has tied the knot with Nigerian musician Tómi Thomas.
The couple celebrated their traditional wedding in Accra on Friday with family, close friends and several familiar faces from the entertainment industry in attendance.
Among the guests were Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts Minister Abla Dzifa Gomashie, Sister Derby, Fella Makafui, Hajia4Reall, Efia Odo and actress Kafui Danku.
Their marriage comes six years after Efya publicly declared that she had no plans to get married. Things have clearly taken a different turn since then, as she and Tómi have now made their relationship official through the traditional ceremony.
The couple’s marriage plans first became known in February 2026, when both families gathered for a knocking ceremony on Valentine’s Day. At the time, their management explained that the gathering was only the first step and did not mean the traditional marriage rites had been completed.
The November 6 ceremony has now marked another important chapter in the relationship between the two musicians.
