Nollywood actor, Gideon Okeke has raised concerns over poor hygiene practices in Nollywood after suffering a body-wide rash from a costume he wore on an unnamed movie set
In a video shared online, the visibly irritated actor showed viewers his skin, which had broken out in rashes.
He revealed that the reaction came after wearing a traditional costume—specifically an animal-skin tunic—that had not been properly cleaned.
In a separate post, he wrote:
“My body is full of rashes!!!
Dear wardrobe department…
Do Nollywood a crying favor by washing those animal skin tunics before handing them to the next unsuspecting talent.
The yeye wey dey that wardrobe dey SMELL.
