Global Excellence Editor, Kunle Rasheed Resigns, Takes Over City Rovers

There seems to be a fresh addition to the highly respected
soft sell industry in Nigeria. As you’re savouring this piece, one of the big
guns in the genre, Kunle Rasheed has resigned his appointment as the Editor of
Global Excellence Magazine and has taken over as the publisher of City Rovers
Magazine. The former Editor, whose former publication is owned by Mayor
Akinpelu took a bow just few days ago as he made known his intention to start
City Rovers Magazine.

Before now, City Rovers operates as a blog and its one of
the hottest blogspots in this part of the country.

Having Spent almost two decades as a journalist and seven
years as the editor of Global Excellence Magazine, Kunle Rasheed’s foray into
journalism began in 1996 with defunct Today’s Choice Magazine as a reporter
after which he left and joined Marvel WEEKLY. His journalistic journey took him
to Fame Weekly and City People Magazine until he found his way to Global
Excellence.

He has the credit of being the pioneer of society writing in
Newspapers which later metamorphosed into Happenstances in the The Nation
Newspapers. The former  Correspondent
with The Nation,  later took up the
challenge as the Editor of Global Excellence Magazine. kunle Rasheed ran the
affairs of the news house until he bought over City Rovers magazine from its
original owners. The magazine is set to hit newsstands in a fortnight.
