Actor Godwin Nnadiekwe has claimed he escaped an alleged ritual attempt after shaking hands with a fellow actor
He said the incident exposed what he described as the hidden dangers within Nollywood.
The actor made the alleged that he believes the attempt was unsuccessful because of his strong spiritual foundation.
Nnadiekwe said the experience reinforced his belief that there is a troubling side to the movie industry that is rarely discussed publicly.
He also expressed disappointment in industry guilds, claiming actors should not depend on them for protection.
He wrote:
“They tried to use me to renew their usual rituals but my foundation is too strong for them. Nollywood’s dark side is real, and no Guild is coming to save you. Vet your circles, guard your energy, protect your space and know who you work with.
