After taking a long compulsory election break, Lagos State University,
LASU, will on Monday, 18th of May, 2015 resume academic activities. It
will be recalled that the student leaders had recently threatened to stage a
protest if the school authority do not call them back for resumption in just few
days. The students had also accused the State Government of having interest in
the closure of the school. But in a fresh meeting held by the State Government, the Varsity’s authorities and university
unions, Monday, 18th was picked for the school’s resumption.
