In the emotional clip, Bunmi is seen seated with her leg elevated on a chair, visibly distressed as a pastor prayed over her. An IV cannula was attached to her hand, highlighting the seriousness of her condition.
The pastor described the ailment as a spiritual attack, calling it an “arrow,” and prayed fervently for her healing, commanding the “spirit of death” to leave her body and for the bleeding in her leg to stop.
Since the video circulated, social media has been flooded with messages of support. Fans have organized prayer sessions and shared heartfelt messages, expressing hope for her swift recovery.
Bunmi Akinnanu began her music career at the age of 10 and later transitioned from banking to full-time music ministry. She rose to prominence with “Omije Oju Mi” and has become a cherished figure in Nigeria’s gospel music scene.
