Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has appointed Oluwatosin Adejumo, a young street puff-puff seller, as a chef at the Osun State Government House in Osogbo
Tribune Online reports that Adejumo received her appointment letter on Friday, fulfilling a promise the governor made during a rally in Osogbo earlier this year.

The promise came when thousands of Osun public servants gathered to welcome the governor back from a short vacation in an appreciation solidarity rally for his support and care since taking office.
During the rally, Adeleke reportedly bought all of Adejumo’s snacks for N50,000 and offered her a role as a chef at the Government House.
In a video seen on social media, the governor, seated in his bus, called to the puff-puff seller by the roadside and asked the cost of all her snacks. He then invited her into the vehicle, inquired about the dishes she could prepare, and instructed his aides to record her contact information for employment.
On Friday, Adejumo, accompanied by her parents, was formally presented with her appointment letter by Governor Adeleke at the Government House in Osogbo.
