Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State has approved a cabinet reshuffle involving commissioners and appointed two special advisers, the Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Mohamed, announced on Friday
Mohamed stated that the changes, effective immediately, aim to reposition the administration for improved service delivery and enhanced performance across key sectors.

“Adnan Nahabu has been appointed Commissioner for Higher, Vocational and Technical Education, while Prof. Ahmad Muhammad Bakori moves from the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development to lead the newly created Ministry of Livestock Development. Yusuf Suleiman Jibia takes over as Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, and Engr. Surajo Yazid Abukur is appointed Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development.
“In addition, Hadiza Abubakar Yar’adua has been appointed Special Adviser on Nutrition and Welfare Services, and Isa Muhammad Musa as Special Adviser on Cultural Orientation,” the statement partly read.
Governor Radda urged all appointees to remain committed to the administration’s Building Your Future agenda and to prioritise the welfare of Katsina State residents.
He expressed confidence that the reshuffle would strengthen coordination, boost sectoral expertise, and accelerate the implementation of key programmes in education, health, agriculture, youth development, women’s empowerment, and social welfare.
