Sad news from the music world! Grammy-winning producer Sidney “Omen” Brown passed away at 49
He was found d8ad in his Harlem, New York apartment on September 13, 2025.
Omen Brown worked with big names like Beyoncé, Drake, Lil Wayne, and Ludacris.
He won a Grammy for his work on Ludacris’ album “Release Therapy”. Omen Brown was a beloved figure in Harlem’s music scene, known for his work as a DJ at places like Barawine Harlem and Ethyl’s.
His body was discovered after employees at Barawine Harlem expressed concern about his absence from a shift.
The NYC medical examiner will perform an autopsy to determine the circumstances surrounding his death.
