Friends and associates are mourning the de.ath of Denisi, popularly known as Ego222 on Instagram and a close friend of Afrobeats star Davido.
News of his passing was shared by Joel Heugh Booysen through a series of posts on his Instagram stories.
While he did not disclose the cause of death, his messages reflected deep grief as he remembered moments spent with the deceased.
Posting photos of himself and Denisi, Booysen expressed how painful the loss has been for him and others who knew him.
“Love you always, my broski.
This one pains me.
Y’all moved countries to dey with me for Southy bro.
My surest guy, u just sorted Southy for us.
You made many brothers for this short while in Southy.
Capetown be crying, brother.
Wake up abeg”.
The emotional tribute obviously shows the bond they shared and the impact Denisi had on those around him during their time together in Cape Town, South Africa.
Although Davido has not publicly addressed the heartbreaking news, the connection between the singer and Denisi was evident.
