Phyna, the winner of BBNaija Season 7, has responded to criticism after a video of her enjoying a night out shortly after her sister Ruth’s burial went viral
The clip, which showed her alongside actress Regina Daniels at a nightclub, sparked backlash from social media users who accused her of moving on too quickly.
Taking to X, Phyna shared a message:
“Grief has no manual, no fixed face, and no timetable. The fact that I choose to keep living, smiling, or sharing moments does not erase the pain I carry. Respect the process, even if you do not understand it. If you cannot extend compassion, then at least extend silence.”
Her words emphasize that grieving is deeply personal, and coping with loss can take many forms. She urged the public to show empathy, reminding everyone that outward appearances don’t lessen the pain she continues to feel.
