A faith-based organisation, ‘Victorious Prayer Network’ has began a weekly prayer towards the re-election bid of President Bola Tinubu in 2027
It said it has started weekly prayer sessions to garner support for the president.
Founder of the organisation, Evangelist Victoria Agori said the decision to pray for Tinubu’s re-election was divinely inspired, adding that the achievements of Tinubu during this first tenure has made it expedient to pray for his return.
Speaking at the weekly prayer meeting of the group in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Agori cited the peace in the Niger Delta region and the ongoing war against insurgency as grounds to support the president for a second term in office.
”Every Wednesday we used to meet; today I was given direction by the Almighty God to gather Nigerian children, women, widows, orphans to pray for the nation, for our President Bola Tinubu, to come back for second tenure,” she said.
Agori said aside from criticisms, the president deserves the prayers of all Nigerians to have a successful tenure.
”We should not be only crucifying Tinubu; we should also pray for him and the country.
”Let Nigeria unite and come together and pray for our country, pray for the President so he can be strengthened, and God can use him to favour Nigeria and every one of us, “ she added.
