Gr@ve digging has began at the residence of ex-President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, Katsina State, as they await his body
The body of the late President is expected to arrive the Nation by noon and transported to Daura, his hometown and residence.
At Buhari’s residence, this morning, officials of the Department of State Services (DSS) and men of the Nigerian Army were seen stationed at the entrance.
Policemen and men of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) were also positioned at strategic places, Daily Trust reports.
When Buhari’s body arrives, he will be received by President Bola Tinubu at Umaru Musa Yar’adua Airport in Katsina.
