Guinness Africa Special Hits Abuja & Ibadan in Grand Style

    Last weekend, it was the turn of
    Abuja and the city of Ibadan to experience the magic of #TheSpecialOne. The fun
    train hit both cities bringing with it plenty of lights, colours and a heavy
    dose of energy and excitement.
    The city of Ibadan got hit first
    on Friday, December 11, 2015 with a special tour of 3 clubs. Ibadan came alive
    with new Guinness Africa Special; the latest product from the iconic beer
    brand, Guinness. The party kicked off at Apollos lounge at about 7pm with
    performances from some of Ibadan’s finest acts including Jayru, Oyinkanade,
    Fabulous Pizzy and Dremo. Superstar DJ Spinall crowned the night with magic on
    the turn table and that had guests yearning for more.
    The next stop was GQ lounge where
    the crowd had already gathered waiting for the special team. The fun was turned
    up higher with amazing performances and the experience was memorable. The train
    finally moved to Latitude lounge where DJ Spinall brought down the roof with
    his line-up of popular old school and new hits. The crowd couldn’t have enough
    as they kept asking for more, it was a spectacular night.

    On Saturday, December 12, the
    party train moved to the capital city of Abuja. It was a night of high energy,
    loads of fun and entertainment at Harrow Park. The expansive landscape was full
    of colour and UV light, and guests were welcomed by  beautiful ladies on hoverboards. The event
    featured unique activities like UV body painting, UV graffiti designs and a rare
    opportunity to make customised T-shirts which got guests even more delighted.
    MC, Matilda Duncan joined by
    comedian, Chuks D’ General announced the kick off the show which was followed
    by energetic performances from local acts including LK Kudi, DJ TTB and popular
    dance group, DNMT. The atmosphere got charged up when DJ Spinal hit the stage
    and later KCee who delivered a rich mix of his popular songs and even gave out
    N30, 000 to one of his fans who impressed him with his dance talent. Also
    present to further spice the night was talented indigenous rapper and one of
    Guinness brand ambassadors, Phyno.
    One of the highpoints of the event
    was the grand unveil which was done amidst an impressive light and pyrotechnics
    show and a live graffiti show by Osa7 and Godwin Strings which left the party goers
    speechless.
    Guinness Africa Special is the
    latest addition to the Guinness family. It contains the distinctive quality of
    Guinness stout with Natural African Extracts giving it a vibrant and refreshing
    taste that is alive with our African spirit at 5% abv.
    It is a brand that has been made
    by us and for us, with natural herbs and spices including ginger, grown in our
    African soil. Young Nigerian and African designers designed the packaging. The
