Destiny Boy’s sister has addressed rumours surrounding her late brother’s death, firmly rejecting claims that he died from a money ritual or at an herbalist’s house
In a video shared on social media, she urged people to stop spreading unverified stories and warned about the dangers of online speculation.

“He didn’t die at an herbalist house. He didn’t do money ritual. He was too young to die. Y’all spreading rumours should fear God,” she said. She clarified that the spiritual consultation he undertook was not linked to any ritual.
The singer, whose real name was Afeez Adeshina, was allegedly poisoned, according to his sister. She also delivered a stern warning to those circulating false narratives:
“He was poisoned. Be careful what you say online. The person that killed him will die one day.”, she added.
Her statement comes amid widespread speculation on social media about the 22-year-old Afrofuji artist’s death, with numerous posts suggesting various causes. She emphasized that these claims were false and urged the public to respect the truth and the family’s privacy.
