Bayern Munich’s season has gone from bad to worse as they let slip a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 away at Heidenheim

Harry Kane broke the deadlock at the Voith-Arena to become the first player in Europe’s top five leagues to reach 50 goal contributions this season.
But Bayern’s inconsistency has proved to be their downfall again, as they conceded twice in the space of a minute after the break.
They were then craved open in the 79th minute as Tim Kleindienst grabbed his second of the match to spark wild scenes form the home fans.
Bayern had not lost to Bundesliga debutants since 2000 – and the German giants have now suffered five defeats in a league campaign for the first time since 2011/12.
It means that Bayer Leverkusen, who beat Union Berlin on Saturday afternoon, are now 16 points clear at the top of the Bundesliga with six games to play.
Leverkusen can now clinch their first German title next weekend should they beat Werder Bremen.
Bayern’s defeat is the worst preparation they could have asked for ahead of Kane’s return to north London on Tuesday night.
The German giants face Arsenal at the Emirates in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final meeting.
It is an opponent who former Tottenham striker Kane boasts a brilliant record against, with the England skipper the leading goalscorer in the north London derby.
