Superstar, Wizkid has finally responded to Seun Kuti after the Afrobeat star repeatedly criticised Wizkid fans for comparing him to his late father, Fela Kuti
Wizkid took to his X page to repost a viral video featuring a woman defending his fans while lambasting Seun Kuti for his ongoing attacks. Captioning the video, he wrote: “He’s embarrassing his family 😭😭😂😂.”
In the clip, the woman delivers a scathing rebuke in Yoruba, criticising Seun for targeting Wizkid supporters.
She also claimed that if not for Wizkid’s influence, Fela’s legacy might not be as widely celebrated, highlighting how the singer’s fanbase is keeping Fela’s memory alive. She further referred to Seun as “omo baba oni pata gigan,” emphasising that Fela’s legacy speaks for itself.
