Hollywood mourns the loss of actress Isabelle Tate, who passed away at 23 after battling Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, a rare inherited neurological disorder
Her talent manager, Kim McCray, confirmed that Tate died peacefully, and her family has asked for privacy during their time of grief.
Born on August 8, 2002, in Nashville, Tennessee, Tate rose to prominence with her debut role as Julie in the pilot episode of ABC’s “9-1-1: Nashville,” which aired on October 9, 2025.
A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business, she managed to pursue her academic goals while nurturing her passions for acting and music. Diagnosed with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease at age 13, Tate faced the progressive neuromuscular disorder with remarkable courage, continuing her career even as she eventually relied on a wheelchair.
