While Bai Ling has made a name for herself as an actress and musician since immigrating from China to the U.S. in 1991, she’s also had a long and storied love life with many big stars
And now she’s about to reveal the names and juicy details to some of her more notable romances with high-profile celebrities in her upcoming tell-all memoir that will span the course of four decades.
The Crow and Southland Tales actress has already claimed Wrestler actor Mickey Rourke will be included in the forthcoming book – My Outrageous Romances In Hollywood, as well as ‘more people you will be shocked about.’
‘They will be nervous. I will be nervous. It will be shocking. It is a story I need to tell,’ the Chengdu, Sichuan, China native, 58, said in a video interview with the US Sun.
Over the years Ling has also been linked to the likes of comedian Bill Maher, Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter, four-time Grammy winner Lionel Richie, and musician Chris Isaak, among many others.
During her acting career, which dates back to her film debut in China in 1984, Ling has gone on to appear alongside some of the biggest stars in show business such as Will Smith, Jude Law, Ewan McGregor, Jason Statham, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Piven, and Billy Zane.
‘I just feel at this stage of my life, it’s about time to tell these fascinating stories about those men everybody knows,’ she explained.
‘I think maybe I met all these famous people, most of who I am going to write about, [for a reason], so people will know how a girl from China came here without knowing anyone and go to meet all these men.’
With some ‘200 pages’ already written, Ling promises to share her ‘full unique story’, which she confessed was inspired by Britney Spears, and that she doesn’t hold back with the details of her sexual encounters with ‘all these men – rock stars, movie stars.’
It turns out she won’t be divulging every single high-profile lover in the memoir, but it’s not for a lack of trying.
“Right now I have to delete some. I cannot include everybody,’ she admitted. ‘I don’t remember how many lovers I have had. There are many, and nobody has experienced a love story like that.’
Fearing backlash, Ling sought legal advice before making the decision to name specific celebrities in her writing.
‘I was worried in the process if there were issues, but then I asked a lawyer. He said you can use a real name if it is true. I am going to, because it’s the truth,’ she said during the interview.
‘With all these man in my life, I write it as truthful as possible. Actually in a very positive, romantic light.’
