According to a close friend of the deceased who spoke anonymously with Vanguard, the maid revealed that Imudia contacted her the day before his death and handed her a piece of paper containing five phone numbers, including that of his brother in the United States.

The maid recalled that Imudia instructed her to keep the numbers, stating that she would need them at a later time.

After their conversation, the maid said Imudia went into the bathroom to take a shower.

She became concerned when the shower was still running after an extended period, and she knocked on the door but received no response.

Moments later, the private guard knocked on the door and informed her of something terrible happening to Imudia.

Rushing downstairs, she found him in a distressing state.

Upon returning upstairs, she discovered the shower was still running, but Imudia was not in the bathroom.

According to the deceased’s friend:

“She said Nick told her to keep the numbers, that she would need them at the appropriate time. Thereafter, she said he went into the bathroom and heard the shower running, indicating that he was having a bath.

“She said after some time, she observed that the shower was still running and wondered what he could still be doing for so long. She knocked on the door, but there was no response and she left.

“Moments later, she said the private guard knocked on the door and informed her to come and see what had happened to Nick. She rushed downstairs and found him in a horrible state. Immediately, she rushed upstairs and still met the shower on. By the time she opened the door, she discovered there was nobody in there.”

The family of the deceased has requested the release of Imudia’s remains for burial.

Over the weekend, they issued a statement dismissing suicide as the cause of his death, emphasizing that Imudia never showed any signs of stress or depression and was never diagnosed with depression.
