Nollywood actor Jude Chukwuka has shared a disturbing incident where he was attacked by a group of men on a movie set in Ikorodu, Lagos State
The attack was allegedly linked to the d3ath of singer Mohbad, with the assailants mistakenly believing Chukwuka to be the father of Naira Marley.
In an interview with Seun Oloketuyi, Chukwuka revealed that the attackers accused him of being responsible for Mohbad’s death, claiming that Naira Marley was behind the singer’s murder. Chukwuka denied the allegations, clarifying that he is not Naira Marley’s father and highlighting their different states of origin.
Chukwuka attributed the attack to people seeking to exploit the situation for fame, emphasizing that blaming Naira Marley for Mohbad’s death was an unjustified attack on his personality.
He said: ““ I understood from the beginning that blaming Naira Marley of Mohbad’s death was an attack on his personality,” Chukwuka said, recounting the incident.
“Because it was finally their chance, some people wanted to take advantage of the situation to become famous. Claiming that my son was responsible for Mohbad’s d3ath, a group of men attacked me on a film set. “I am not the father of Naira Marley,” I informed them. I let him know that my home is Delta State and he’s from Abeokuta”
