Huddah Monroe has cleared the air over her past relationship with Tanzanian singer Juma Jux and the old photos and videos of the two that have been circulating.
According to Huddah, she has known Jux for years and their relationship happened long before he got married. She said they have not spoken in a long time and questioned why she would want to interfere with his marriage.
She denied posting the old video that brought her name into the conversation, saying the account behind it is not hers.
In a series of posts shared on her Instagram story, she wrote:
“I knew Jux for a very long time. Even before he got married, he was in a relationship and that was the last time I ever spoke to him. His friends are my friends so we talk but I haven’t spoken to him in so long. You guys think I want to ruin someone’s marriage. I can’t marry him so why would I ruin his marriage. I can’t be bothered about anything especially someone else’s marriage.
“I am trending in Nigeria, Tanzania and Kenya for the wrong reasons. You guys want to see that marriage fail and want to put me in the middle. All Juma’s relationships I have been linked to them that I am the reason why they ended. I can’t be bothered, leave me alone.
“I did not post that video. That page is not my page. I am not active on TikTok or Snapchat. I’m not even active on Instagram like that. I don’t care about social media again. I don’t even post but someone else makes me trend, can you imagine.”
