According to Daily Trust, although the suspects had already damaged windows of the two-story building before the police arrived, no further destruction occurred.
The incident occurred amidst a low turnout for the protest against hunger in Kano, with many residents staying indoors.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf had earlier warned of potential troublemakers seeking to hijack the protest, inviting genuine protesters to gather at Government House, Kano, while cautioning those with malicious intentions to stay away.
